Our team is made up of individuals from a diverse range of backgrounds and experience, including sport, leisure and culture; social care and rehabilitation; education; design; technology; lifelong learning; management systems; regeneration and property development; funding; and procurement of projects.
We have extensive experience of working with both the private and public sectors to maximise the opportunities presented by individual projects.
Mark Bremner
Mark originally founded 3d Leisure in 1991 to focus on opportunities in the hotel and corporate health and fitness market.
Mark was a joint founder of DC Leisure, a management company for more than 100 public leisure centres including a number of dual use facilities around the UK. The company was sold to a private equity house, in 2003.
Between 1995 and 2004, Mark was co-opted onto the board of the Fitness Industry Association as Treasurer.
Mark is also a founding Director and shareholder of FitNation, a network of independent health and fitness clubs and leisure centres.
Justin Beavis
Justin has a background in investment banking, corporate finance and social infrastructure.
Over the past four years, Justin has focussed specifically on the educational sector and has worked on a wide range of PPP, PFI and BSF type projects.
His most recent projects have included Newcastle BSF, Lancashire BSF, Coventry PFI. He is also involved in the first wave of the Irish Schools PPP.
Prior to working in educational infrastructure, Justin worked as part of Close Brothers’ M&A practice in Frankfurt.
Andrew Deere
In 1999 Andrew became a shareholder and board member of 3d Leisure.
He was appointed Finance Director to oversee all financial and administration matters for the parent company and its subsidiaries.
Prior to this, Andrew was the Marketing Manager for the MPI Group. In 1995 he became Managing Director of the marine publishing, event management and education and training company.
Andrew graduated from the University of Bristol with a B.Sc. (Hons) in Business Studies.
Paul Ramsay
Paul joined 3d Leisure in 1996 and was subsequently promoted to the board as Operations Director.
He is directly responsible for overseeing all of 3d Leisure’s Contract Managers and for looking after more than 40 sites throughout the UK and Ireland.
Prior to this, Paul held the position of Group Operations Manager for 3d Leisure and has been a General Manager of numerous centres.
Paul benefits from extensive knowledge and experience of the leisure sector and has degrees in Leisure Management from Brunel University, Leeds Metropolitan University and Harrogate College.
Stephanie Frost
Stephanie joined 3d Leisure in 2005 and is responsible for promotion of the company and business development initiatives.
Stephanie has focused her attention on developing 3d Leisure's role within the education sector.
Prior to this Stephanie worked in Financial Services and has considerable experience of working in customer and client facing roles.
Keith Sach
Since 1990, Keith has been an independent safety consultant specialising in sport, recreation and leisure.
He regularly provides expert evidence in civil, criminal and coroner’s court proceedings for a number of key operators.
Keith is also a consultant to Enforcing Authorities for the HSW ACT 1974, architects, local authority and commercial operators of leisure facilities and health & fitness clubs.
He writes, speaks and broadcasts on Health & Safety matters in the leisure industry and is a Council Member of the Magistrates’ Association.
